ARREST: Park St., Metaline Falls, Nikki M. Mazzi-Heim, 29, of Ione was arrested for violation of order.

ANIMAL NOISE: Wildflower Ln., Newport, report of ongoing issue with neighbors’ dogs barking for hours on end.

ANIMAL NOISE: W. 4th Ave., Metaline Falls, report of dogs across the street barking constantly 24-hrs a day.

ILLEGAL BURNING: Houghton St., Ione, report of subject burning something behind residence in the alley.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Country Ln., Newport, report subjects ran over and killed subject’s dog on Sept. 20.

VEHICLE FIRE: W. 7th St., report that there was a four-wheeler on fire in the parking lot.

STRUCTURE FIRE: Hwy. 211, Newport, report of chimney fire has caused fire inside house.

ANIMAL CRUELTY: Houghton St., Ione, report that female subject was beating on her dog, dog now whimpering in pain, brown boxer/ Pitbull.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Camden Rd., Newport, complainant reports they heard something, looked outside and saw a vehicle with its lights on in the driveway.

FIRE, SMOKE ONLY: Hwy. 2, Newport, complainant reports they can see smoke behind this location, believes it is a homeless camp.

VEHICLE THEFT: S. Newport Ave., report that fence was cut, and tow trucks gone through.

THEFT: Hwy. 211, Usk, report that someone cut down trees and took wood.

ASSAULT: W. 5th St.

THEFT: S. Fea Ave., Newport, report of two bikes taken yesterday.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: LeClerc Rd. N., report of male acting strange outside building.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Fan Lake Rd. & Nicholson Rd., report of maroon Chevy pickup with American flag window overlay in the rear driving up and down road possibly looking in mailboxes.

TRESPASSING: Hwy. 2, report of being out at a camp regarding trespassers.

VEHICLE PROWL: E. Circle Dr., Newport, report that between Monday and Tuesday, a Glock 42 was taken from vehicle.

PSYCHIATRIC: N. Warren Ave., Newport, 30-year-old female is threatening to take her life, 3rd party report.

TRESPASSING: Fair View Rd., Elk, complainant reported that they fired caregiver and she came back and won’t leave.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Turtle Rd., Cusick

EXTRA PATROL: LeClerc Rd. N. & Fir Dr., report that with the detour, the semi-trucks are traveling at a high rate of speed.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: N. Washington Ave., report that the thrift store is closed but the door is not locked.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENT: S. Washington Ave. & W. 1st, Newport, complainant reports semi knocked over the stop sign, believes it went on Union towards Walnut.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Beaver Valley Rd., Newport, complainant reports older male in white long johns is trying to get in her house.

ARREST: S. Garden Ave., Newport, Benjamin B. Stark, 22, of Cheney

was arrested for failure to appear.

FOUND PROPERTY: Laurelhurst Dr. & W. Quail, report of found wallet.

ERRATIC DRIVER: Hwy. 2, report of motorcycle is passing cars on the left and right.

AGENCY ASSIST: W. Walnut St., Bonner County deputy request city officer in reference to trespassing a subject who is now yelling at people in the parking lot.

TRESPASSING: Stanley Dr., Newport, complainant reports that while gone someone drove onto their property with a large piece of equipment and tore up their road and property.

ARREST: Conklin Meadows Rd., Newport, William A Archer, 59, of Newport was arrested for third degree rape.

SATURDAY, OCT. 12

THREATENING: Fern Lane and Connelly Rd., report of a neighbor threatening caller back in July and today; he trespassed on their property, was shooting a bow and arrow and pointed it at caller’s family.

WELFARE CHECK: W. Walnut St., Newport, report of a female passed out in a blue Mustang.

POSSIBLE DUI: Northshore Diamond Lake Rd., Newport, report of a subject driving into a ditch, vehicle is very dark gray.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: W. 1st St. and Calispel Ave., Newport, report of a white bus with no plates.

SUNDAY, OCT. 13

ARREST: W. Walnut St., Newport, Jacob Reed Anderson, 34, of Newport was arrested for criminal trespass in the second degree, second degree malicious mischief and second degree arson.

TRESAPSSING: Spring Valley Rd., Newport, report of caller buying property where a subject was living and wants to get them off the property.

MOTOR-VEHICLE CRASH: Hwy. 2, Newport, report of one-vehicle rollover, female ejected.

THREATENING: Hwy. 20, Newport, report o f a verbal argument between subject and property owner; subject threatened to stab caller.

ARREST: Hwy. 2, Ruta Madsen, 39, of Newport was arrested for DUI and reckless endangerment.

WELFARE CHECK: W. 5th St., Newport, report of a female coming to the door saying she needs a place to stay; she’s from an abusive home and is diabetic.
