Clint Tucker, a 1969 Newport High School graduate, was awarded a Quilt of Valor during the 2024 Rosalia Schools Veterans Day Assembly Nov. 8. Tucker served U.S. Air Force and Air Force Reserves from 1970 – 1976. Tucker’s presentation was made through the Greater Spokane Quilts of Valor volunteers.
