Priest Lake Sled Dog Races Feb. 1-2

PRIEST LAKE - The Annual Priest Lake Sled Dog Races will take place Saturday and Sunday, Feb 1-2 at the USFS airstrip in Priest Lake. The races start at 9:30 a.m. each day and continue through the early afternoon.

The Inland Empire Sled Dog Association sanctions the race, says Marcy Britt, the Community Outreach spokesperson for EDSDA. Last year’s races were cancelled because of lack of snow, she says, so they are playing a bit of catch up this year.
