NEWPORT — In preparation for the proud return of its fourth year, the Newport Renaissance Faire is seeking noble sponsors to join them in making history.
The Ren Faire hopes to bring a live-action knight show featuring daring jousts, fierce sword fights and heroic feats of chivalry to the annual event, this year from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Newport Rodeo Grounds.
The immersive medieval experience will transport audiences to an age of gallantry, where knights clash in the arena, banners fly high and the roar of the crowd fuels the glory of battle. With live stunt performances, period-accurate armor and a fully interactive atmosphere, the knight show is “set to be an unforgettable event for the ages,” according to a Ren Faire press release.
The Ren Faire offers various sponsorship levels, providing opportunities to businesses and organizations of all sizes to be part of this grand spectacle.
* The Free Folk: $10 or any amount for the Ren Faire’s forever gratitude.
* The Gentry: $100 for social media recognition, a certificate recognizing the sponsor’s alliance and a ringing-out by the official Herald publicly thanking the sponsor for their faithful fealty.
