CITIZEN DISPUTE: Roberts Dr., Newport, report that county tagged road, subject pulled out all flags; also sounded like subject was shooting on property.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: Hwy. 20 & Beehive Lane, Newport, report that dark red SUV was sitting on Bureau of Land Management land and drove through person’s property to get there.

TRESPASSING: Hwy. 211, Newport, report of car in driveway that had been there for 15 minutes, person would not get out.

TUESDAY, APRIL 1 

VIOLATION OF ORDER: S. Spokane Ave., Newport, report that respondent in order was possibly outside, person could hear tapping on windows.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Lada Dr., Newport, report of male in 30s with gray jacket, black pants and stocking cap, acting strange, mumbling to himself.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Valley View Dr., Newport

ARREST: S. Garden Ave., Newport, Tony Allen Lambert Jr., 25, of Newport was arrested on a local warrant.

THEFT: Hwy. 20, report of truck stolen sometime in last month.

SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE: N. Union Ave., Newport, report of suspicious van parked behind business.

ARREST: Kings Lake Rd., Usk, Michelle Nicole Larson, 32, of Priest River was arrested for second-degree malicious mischief.

COLLISION: Spring Valley Rd., Newport, report of vehicle down embankment, unknown if occupied.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Hwy. 211, report from person who believed neighbors were

cutting down their trees and shooting them.

DISTURBANCE: Hwy. 2, report of female refusing to leave premises after being kicked out of motel.

NON-INJURY COLLISION: Hwy. 2 & Telephone Rd. E., Newport, report of non-injury, non-blocking accident.

NOISE COMPLAINT: Park St., Metaline Falls, report of ongoing issue with neighbor revving his motorcycle.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: Sullivan Lake Rd., Newport, report to another agency that someone planted listening devices.

ILLEGAL BURNING: E. 4th Ave., Metaline Falls, report of neighbor burning garbage.

DRUGS: Qlispe River Way, Cusick, report of drugs at casino.

ARREST: Hwy. 2 & Fertile Valley Rd., Newport, Michael Emerson McGovern, 53, of Cusick was arrested on a Department of Corrections warrant.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Hwy. 20, report that deer needed dispatched.

ANIMAL BITE: W. Pine St., Newport, report of child bit by dog.

THREATENING: Moonlight Lane, Newport, report that neighbor came over and threatened to beat up 17-year-old for stealing bike.

ARREST: Qlispe River Way, Cusick, April Star Gillock, 38, of Newport was arrested on a local warrant.

ILLEGAL BURNING: 2nd Ave., Cusick, report that neighbor was having bonfire.

SUNDAY, APRIL 6 

ARREST: S. Union Ave., Newport, Jesse Guy LeFebvre, 48, of Newport was arrested on a local warrant.

CIVIL: Doreen Dr., Newport, report that neighbor was using tractor and tearing up his driveway too.

THEFT: Southshore Diamond Lake Rd., Newport, report of items stolen out of two boats.

FIRE: Hwy. 31, report of pasture burn out of control and spreading.

ANIMAL BITE: Slater Lane, Newport, report that dog attacked them while in their side-by-side.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: W. Kelly Dr., Newport, report of suspicious male looking in trailers.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Hill Top Rd., Newport, report that dog ran after person’s car and attacked it.

FIRE: Harworth Rd., Newport, report that portable propane tank was leaking.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES: S. Union Ave., Newport, report that subject was cleaning out porta-potty at carwash.

FIRE: Community Hall Rd., Cusick, report of brush fire coming onto roadway.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Turtle Rd., Cusick, report that dogs got out and attacked subject earlier that day.
