Paid summer workforce program open

NEWPORT - NEW Health is launching the “Bridging the Gap,” a paid summer workforce program is an initiative aiming to introduce future employees to careers in rural communities. The first cohort will focus on four key disciplines - Dental Sterilization Technician, IT Helpdesk Intern, Care Coordinator and Pharmacy Assistant. Participants will gain invaluable exposure and paid on the job experience.

As part of the program, individuals will benefit from career exploration activities and essential employee development tools, including resume building, mock interviews, and professional standards workshops.
