COLVILLE — The Lost Falls Collaborative announces the 2025 Annual PNW Filmmaker Showcase, a free event held at the Auto-Vue Drive-in Theater in Colville. The event is on Thursday, May 22 and will open with a performance by Craig Mc-Quain Music. The gate opens at 7:30 p.m. and music begins at 8 p.m.

The movies will start at dusk featuring numerous regional filmmakers, including KS Brooks, Logan Cannon, Chimmy Chu, Rebecca Cook, Ron Ford, Dave Kotlan, Jimmy Matzlots, Corryna Pettigrew, Deja Prescott, Misty Shipman and Payton Wyatt. Festival founder Joseph D. Wulczynski, who currently resides in Corozal Town, Belize, and a local crew are putting together a film he hopes to have finished by the festival.

The film will be showcased in Colville and Belize on the same night. The snack bar will be open during this event.

Those attending should make sure their vehicle has a radio. The event is sponsored by the Vinson Fund and RUNRABBITTRUN Productions.

Out of The Box hosts pizza party for you

NEWPORT — Out of the Box Entertainment, a community theater group based in Newport, invites the public to a meet-and-greet pizza party Wednesday, May 14 at Newport Pizza, located at 237 S. Washington Ave. Board members and directors will be available from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to answer questions.

The next productions will be a murder mystery in September and a Christmas play in November. Out of The Box strives to be an inclusive group that welcomes new members with or without theater experience. For more information, go to www. outoftheboxentertainment. org.

‘Second Time Around’ at Circle Moon Theater

SACHEEN LAKE — Nostalgia abounds with the 2025 Spring show from Northwoods Performing Arts. Directed by Mark D. Caldwell, “Second Time Around” features chorale, solo and ensemble music that was popular throughout the last several decades: the ‘40s, ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. “Second Time” is a chance to revisit those times through music.

Performances are May 30-31, June 3, 5, 7, and June 13–14. Dinner show tickets are $35 per person, and $14 for the show only. Senior and children’s tickets are $12. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., dining service begins at 6:30 p.m. and the curtain opens at 7:30 p.m.
