Lakes Commission meeting June 3

PRIEST RIVER — The Lakes Commission will be meeting from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 3 at the Priest River Event Center. During the last meeting there were audiovisual issues that organizers acknowledge were discouraging for participants online. In the hopes of avoiding that issue, the meeting will be in person this time without a virtual option. Lakes Commission meetings are open to the public. The tentative agenda is as follows: Avista - Cabinet Gorge and Noxon Dams The Corps of Engineers Local dam and recreation Facility Operations Idaho Fish & Game LPO Fishery University of Idaho Lake Pend Oreille Economic Impact Study Idaho Department of Water Resources - Priest Lake Dam Operations Overview Priest River - Two Rivers Park (formerly known as Joslyn Park)

Drivers license offices closed Thursday

PRIEST RIVER — The Bonner County Drivers License offices in Sandpoint and Priest River will be closed Thursday, May 15, for annual training.
