Alyssa Dibble, 16, of Newport at P.E.O. International’s Newport chapter’s Annual Junior Girl’s Tea May 8 at American Lutheran Church in Newport. The chapter, which is over 100 years old, has been hosting the event for 50 years. This year, Dibble and about a dozen other girls joined the chapter in learning about P.E.O.’s scholarship opportunities, all while drinking tea, eating snacks and discussing their futures.
