Donations sought for Pawsitive yard sale

NEWPORT - Pawsitive Outreach Spay Neuter Advocates, who have been providing affordable spay/neuter options to low income pet owners for the last 20 years and also have a no-kill shelter, are in need of donations for an upcoming yard sale on the weekend of Saturday and Sunday, June 21-22.

POSNA volunteers will be holding the sale at 8926 E. Oregon Rd. in Elk, about 3 miles off Hwy. 2, north of Millers One Stop. The yard sale will be a fundraiser for POSNA and coordinated by Pam Rigg. All proceeds from the sale and any donations will go towards the care of the rescued animals, including food, litter, medications and veterinary care. Some storage space is available, but people are asked to bring donations the day before the sale, Friday, June 20. POSNA can also use volunteers and monetary donations.

For more information or to arrange a drop off, call POSNA at 500-671-1427.
