Alumni to seniors

President Pam Nichols and others in the Newport Alumni Association adjusting posters of graduating Newport School District seniors on Grizzly Way, May 27 in Newport. Each of the about 90 posters feature one senior and which school they are graduating from in June: Newport High School, Pend Oreille River School or Newport Home Link. After graduation, the seniors will take their own posters home. This year, Newport High School’s graduation is at 7 p.m. June 6, and Pend Oreille River School’s is at 10 a.m. June 7.
