Four public high schools held ceremonies over the weekend for the graduating classes of 2025: Newport High School and Cusick High School Friday, June 6, and Pend Oreille River School, Priest River Lamanna Senior High School and Selkirk High School on Saturday, June 7. Family and friends alike clapped, cheered and cried for this year’s graduates as they celebrated their final days as high schoolers at their alma maters. Like most years, the graduation ceremonies included student and staff speeches, commemorative slideshows and other celebratory proceedings.
