Colville rodeo this weekend, Newport in two weeks

COLVILLE — Professional rodeo is returning to Northeast Washington, with the Colville Pro Rodeo taking place this weekend with performances Friday and Saturday, June 13–14, starting at 7 p.m.

The Newport Rodeo takes place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 26–28. The Thursday performance starts at 6:30 p.m. and the Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:15 p.m.

Both rodeos are part of the Columbia River Circuit of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. The Columbia River Circuit consists of PRCA rodeos held in Washington, Oregon and North Idaho. The PRCA is the largest rodeo sanctioning body in North America, and the Columbia River Circuit includes large, historic rodeos like the Pendleton Round-Up, Omak Stampede and Ellensburg Rodeo.
