BRIEFLY Cutter Murder Mystery seeking actors

METALINE FALLS — The Kelly Cutter Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre, returning this October, needs some actors.

Writer and director Tara Leininger needs four actors who can both learn lines and do improvisation with guests to play four roles. Kelly Cutter is the resident sleuth and hostess for the evening and central character for the show. The other three roles can be played by men or women who are of “adult” age and appearance, according to the news release. These include Mr. or Ms.

Vanderbilt, Mr. or Ms. Getty and Mr. or Ms. Skirball.

The three characters have spouses or children who have been “bumped off,” and they become the main suspects in the mystery. The three characters’ genders are not important, so casting depends on availability.

Leininger has a preliminary rehearsal schedule available at the Cutter Theatre, which begin in late August.

The show is at 6 p.m. Oct. 3 and 1 p.m. Oct. 4. For audition and performance information, call Leininger at 509-589-1044 or the Cutter Theatre at 509-446-4108.
