Newport street work continues

City workers were busy Tuesday morning, July 21, on Third Street in Newport grinding asphalt, using the city owned Asphalt Zipper. The Zipper pulverizes asphalt turning it into a reusable road base. Crews will use the Zipper when chip sealing Second and Scott streets, with Third Street after that.
