There was plenty of activity in the Pend Oreille River Valley over the weekend, as Down River Days were held in Ione City Park and Timber Days in Priest River. Timber Days took place both Friday and Saturday, July 25–26 and Down River Days happened Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 25–27.

The Selkirk Trailblazers Club hosted down River Days, and Timber Days were put on by the Priest River Chamber of Commerce.

Miner photographers were at both events, which are highlights of their respective communities.
