Selkirk students garner thousands in scholarships

IONE – The graduated seniors from Selkirk High School picked up thousands of dollars in scholarships. The following students received these scholarships

McKenna Flanders has been awarded the following scholarships: Pend Oreille Valley Lions Club Scholarship in the amount of $2,600, the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund Scholarship for $2,500, the Cutter Theatre Scholarship for $500, the Lilian Bailey Scholarship for $795, the Bryanna Lynn Sargent Scholarship for $500, the American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for $1000, the American Legion Scholarship for $1,000 and the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,600.

Valentino Stanislao has been awarded the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,500, $1700 from the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund, as well as the Richard and Polly Stretch Memorial Scholarship for $500.

Madison Petrich has been awarded $1,700 from the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund, the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,300 and the Allan Emrick Selkirk Memorial 4-H Scholarship for $500.

Nathan Rassmussen has been awarded $1,700 from the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund and the American Legion Scholarship for $1,000.

Porter Larson has received the following scholarships: The Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund for $1,700 and the Built on Trust Scholarship for $1,500.

McKenzie Zarren has been awarded the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,400, $1,700 from the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund, and the American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for $1000.

Jasmine Miller has been awarded $1,700 from the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund.

Leilani Jungblom has received several scholarships in recognition of her achievements, including the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund for $2,500, the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,700, the RTI Scholarship for $250, the Public School Employees Scholarship for $300, the American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship for $1,000, the American Legion Scholarship for $1,000, the Selkirk Alliance for Science Scholarship for $500, the Built on Trust Scholarship for $1,500, the Selkirk Education Association Scholarship for $500.

Vincenzo Stanislao has been awarded the following: The Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund for $1,700, the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,400, the Friends of Selkirk Scholarship for $500, the Steven McKenzie Scholarship for $1,000.

Bella Stanislao has been awarded $1,700 from the Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund, the Friends of Selkirk Scholarship for $500 and the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,300.

Breylee Mock has been awarded the following scholarships: The Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund for $1,700 and the Polly Stretch Memorial Scholarship for $500.

Stevie Inwood - Lindemannhas received the following scholarships: The Selkirk Community Scholarship fund for $1,700, the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,500, the Friends of Selkirk Scholarship for $500, the RTI scholarship for $500, the Boundary Powerhouse Employees Scholarship for $250, the Kim Rice Memorial Scholarship for $250, and the Allan Emrick Selkirk Memorial 4-H Scholarship for $500.

Alyssa Percival has received the following scholarships: The Selkirk Community Scholarship Fund for $1,700 and the Lions Club Scholarship for $2,400.

Spencer Duty has received the following scholarships: The Boundary Powerhouse Employees Scholarship for $250.
