Action aplenty at Rough Stock Rodeo

There was plenty of thrilling happenings at the Rough Stock Rodeo Saturday, Aug. 2 in Newport. Saddle bronc riding, ranch bronc riding, bareback riding and bull riding made up the rough stock part and the women’s barrel racing supplied the fast horse and expert rider part to entertain a fair-sized crowd of more than 1,500 spectators.
