PRIEST RIVER — The Pend Oreille Rowing and Paddling Association held its 2025 PORPA Sprints at the Priest River Recreation Area, also known as The Mudhole, Saturday, Aug. 9. In celebration of non-motorized watercraft and racing, boaters of all ages and abilities participated in the annual event, racing against each other in kayaks, canoes and more under the hot mid-August sun.
