Newport Newkuleles

Donna Mapes and Linda Castella play their ukuleles Thursday, Aug.

7 at Create in Newport. Mapes and Castella and a couple others make up the group the Newkuleles. They will be performing at Creates’ Coffee in the Garden next Thursday, Aug. 14 from 10 a.m. to Noon. The Newkuleles welcome players of all experiences to join them Thursday. Create is located at 900 4th St., in Newport.
