We know they are near when we first hear the buzz, We may not have seen them but we know what it was.
They will come near again and usually with friends, They are quite annoying but part of the earth spin. Their lives start fast and are only for a short duration, A closer look might earn them some consideration. God gave them a job as he did for man and all creatures, Them that crawl, swim, and fly, and those that fill bleachers.
Reacting by instinct as decomposers and breaking down waste, Then serve as food for birds and plants as their short life is erased.
They have been part of the food chain for thousands of years, Extraterrestrials copied their flight skills, now there’s one’s in my ear.
