Lumberjack run

Blaine Rieckers of the SelPort Lumberjacks makes a run against Springdale Friday, Sept. 12. Selkirk and Northport combined again for football, with a new name. The Lumberjacks scored first and were leading until the end of the third quarter, when Springdale tied the game at

24-24. The Lumberjacks got the lead back but gave up touchdowns in the fourth quarter and Springdale got the 48-30 win. The Lumberjacks (0-1) next play at Columbia-Hunters (0-1), Friday Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.
