THEFT: Duck Lane, Newport, report that sometime in last week someone had come onto caller’s property and her sibling’s property next door and stolen several items.

BOATING OFFENSE: Fan Lake, Deer Park, report of boat with motor out on lake.

TRESPASSING: Hwy. 20, Newport, report that subjects were trespassing on caller’s property around 12:57 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28.

FIRE: Driskill Rd., Newport, report that caller walked into house and smelled like something was on fire and smoke alarms were going off, but did not see any flames.

IDENTITY FRAUD: Camden Rd., Newport, report that caller believed someone stole her identity because three credit cards and debit cards had been compromised.

BURGLARY: W. 2nd St., Newport, report that guitar was stolen off stage sometime between Thursday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 27.

ARREST: Hillcrest Lane, Newport, David Michael Hawthorne, 55, of Newport was arrested for assault fourth-degree domestic violence.

FIRE: Pondoray Shores Rd. & Open Skies Rd., Newport, report that caller could see black and blue smoke.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Granite Court, Newport, report that subject who lived at location dumped junk on helipad out there and left sign with items that was threatening and vulgar.
