The soft coup

Imagine you want to take over the world; how would you do it? It appears to me that a rogue CIA, as the foot soldiers of the global cabal, mastered the “soft coup” in countries abroad and are now focused on the USA. Their playbook, “The Methods of Nonviolent Action” by Gene Sharp, compiled 198 tactics utilizing every civil, governmental and social institution to “bring down authoritarian governments.” They employ language like “protecting democracy through civil resistance.” Just five steps to topple any government in 90 days: Identify the 3.5% needed for critical mass.

Train organizers in the 198 methods of non-cooperation.

Coordinate with political opposition.

Frame obstruction as “protecting democracy.”

Deploy when the target government threatens cabal interests.

EKO (DOGE coder on X) quotes from a recorded Zoom training of 55 federal employees, most from CDC, NIH, and State Department: “I was at USAID for 10 years and also at the U.S. Institute of Peace for four. I have done a decent amount of work on nonviolent collective action abroad.” Pause. “I have to admit, it feels interesting to be doing this here in the US. A little jarring.”

“Interesting”? “A little jarring”?

How about “seditious”?

WA must spend responsibly

Listening to Anton Stetner’s recent podcast, I was struck by how familiar his words sound in everyday conversations around town.

Many of us are feeling the same pinch — rising costs, small businesses tightening up and neighbors

GUEST OPINION

quietly leaving the state they love.

This isn’t about politics; it’s about priorities. Washington has added billions in new tax revenue since 2021, yet the shortfall keeps growing. Overspending, not underfunding, appears to be the real issue.

When spending outpaces income in a household, we call it unsustainable. The same holds true for government. The call here isn’t “no taxes ever,” but “spend responsibly, first.”

If higher costs continue to squeeze working families and small businesses, homeownership could become the next casualty. More Washingtonians may be pushed toward rentals — not by choice, but by necessity. That’s something we should all care about.

It’s time to ask lawmakers to review their projections, protect small business margins and preserve what’s left of our middle class before more families and investors decide to build elsewhere.

Presidential honor

On October 14, what would have been Charlie Kirk’s 32nd birthday, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously.

His wife Erika accepted on his behalf. She spoke about Turning Point and how much it has grown since his murder. Chapters have doubled and 800K new student members.

Interestingly, since Charlie’s death, church attendance is up 15%, Bible purchases are up 41% and Christian music streaming is up 50%. His legacy seems to be charging forward. Both the President and the military read declaration stated that ‘Charlie was a martyr for truth and freedom.’

He wasn’t killed for his message alone, but because of his success in reaching college age young people.

His message was truth, freedom and faith. He died with his boots on, doing what he loved. Communicating with young people. RIP Charlie. Erika and team will take it from here.

Trump acts more like king than traditional president

According to US House Speaker Mike Johnson, protesting the kinglike behavior of Trump means you hate America. You know, the America that was formed in rebellion to the English King. Why does MAGA want Trump to be their king? Certainly, he acts more like a king and less like a traditional president.

An American king would be contrary to our constitution. Today’s English King has a ceremonial role in a parliamentary government with a prime minister. I am ok with Trump being made a ceremonial king with no king-like powers.

Trump could hold royal court on TV and have his admirers tune-in.

This could fill the need for people to have something to adore besides an invisible religious God. I guess America never got over the mystique of having a sovereign to pledge their allegiance. Foreign royalty has always been admired and worshiped by Americans.

King Trump is treating his subjects that fall out of favor like the old English kings who sent their disgraced subjects to the Tower of London.

Trump will die or leave the presidency at some point. Do you really want his replacement to have the same powers being abdicated to him by congress and the courts?
