THEFT: E. 4th Ave., report that neighbor came onto property about half an hour ago and stole tire out of used tire pile caller had on their property.

VIOLATION OF ORDER: Spring Valley Rd., Newport

HARASSMENT: S. Spokane Ave., Newport, report that caller had stalker.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Kubota St., Metaline Falls, report of dog at large.

TRAFFIC OFFENSE: E. Tacoma St., Cusick, report of loud gray Mustang racing up and down roadway.

NON-INJURY COLLISION: Davis Lake Rd. & Hwy. 211, Davis Lake, report of vehicle versus deer.

ARREST: W. Pine St., Newport, John Davis Skipper, 48, of Newport was arrested for third-degree assault.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Cusick Meadow Rd., Cusick

ILLEGAL BURNING: Happy Trail Lane & Deer Valley Rd., Newport, report of two slash piles unattended.

TUESDAY, OCT. 21

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Laurelhurst Dr., Newport, report of white Dodge Caravan with broken-out windshield and no plates parked in pullout.

ANIMAL NOISE: Quail Loop, Newport, report of dog at this address constantly barking, ongoing issue.

Washington Ave., Newport, report of male subject loitering out front of business and sitting on doorstep.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Hwy. 2, Newport, report of drones over farm, ongoing issue.

FISH & GAME: North Baldy, Ione, report of possible poaching.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: E. 5th Ave., report that caller thought subjects in park were suspicious.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 22

JAIL HOUSING: S. Garden Ave., Newport, report of transporting inmate to Spokane Jail.

ARREST: Spring Hill Rd., Newport, Denzel Lee Crabtree, 53, of Newport was arrested on a Department of Corrections detainer.

VIOLATION OF ORDER:

Kirkpatrick Rd., Elk, report that respondent in order called three times yesterday and one time today from hotel, left messages.

FRAUD: Larch Lane, Cusick, report that someone was trying to list her property for sale with realtor.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Hwy.

20, Cusick, report that male knocked on at least two doors then went down toward river and then back.

TRESPASSING: Moonlight Lane, Newport, report that about 3:55 to 4:30 a.m. two people wearing camo with headlamps were caught on camera trespassing.

THURSDAY, OCT. 23

ARREST: S. Lyons Rd., Airway Heights, Molly Rose Biggerstaff, 40, of Spokane was arrested on tribal charges.

BURGLARY: Old LeClerc Rd., Cusick, report that his friend’s nephew broke into residence and stole all his items sometime yesterday.

TRESPASSING: Telephone Rd.

E., Newport, report of male trespassing on property.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Conklin Meadows Rd., Newport, report that caller possibly heard woman screaming for help.
