POSA celebrates youth sports

Pend Oreille Sports President Tim Chilcott passes out pizza to tiny Pines players at POSA’s season awards and pizza party Saturday, Oct. 25 at Newport High School. The non-profit 501(c)(3) has helped local youth ages 3–18 participate in sports for over 20 years. Last Saturday’s event marked the end of the fall soccer season.
