‘Cooperating where it counts’ soup kitchen Thursday

NEWPORT — Brad Hanson and Patti Monk are organizing a free Shutdown Soup Kitchen from 4–5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Hospitality House in Newport.

Hanson says he and Monk, who are good friends, have different political viewpoints.

“She’s from the left and I’m from the right,” he says. “So, we’re cooperating where it counts.”
