The printed version of The Miner Newspapers last week incorrected stated in the Police Reports, that Martin Gardner Chamberlain Jr., 31, of Ione was arrested for second degree murder. Chamberlain was arrested for attempted second degree murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and second-degree assault, as explained in a story titled “Ione man held for attempted murder,” in last week’s issue. We regret any confusion this may have caused.
