Bigfoot Festival Committee meeting Wednesday

‘Drive Out Hunger’ rally set for Saturday

NEWPORT — A peaceful Drive Out Hunger rally is being held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Big Wheel in Newport.

Sponsored by We The Community Umbrella, the rally was organized in acknowledgement of health care costs, costs of living and cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Rallygoers are speaking up, waving signs and gathering food donations. All are welcome to join them.
