Cook-off for Cusick food

Sponsored by the American Legion Post No. 217 and organized by Linnell, the event raised a total of $2,230, including a $1,000 donation from Curt Holmes of the Kalispel Tribal Council. This $2,230 will help the food pantry provide their clients with holiday meals. The Kalispel Tribe also provided prizes for the winners. “It was a very successful event and a lot of fun for all who participated,” wrote Joyce Beach, Cusick Food Pantry director, in an email.
