The newest specialty plate in Washington is this pickle ball license plate. It is one of 13 specialty plate authorized in a new law. A set of pickleball plates cost $157.25, with proceeds to be used for building and maintaining dedicated pickleball courts. It took three years to get the state Legislature to authorize the plate in a bipartisan omnibus bill passed in 2025.
