FIRE: Hwy. 211, Newport, report that caller saw fire at neighbor’s, unsure what was on fire.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Republic Lane, Newport, report that caller found two gas cans at foot of his driveway across from where barn fire was.

ANIMAL CRUELTY: Spring Valley Rd., Newport, report that eight dogs that were kept in outside kennel did not have adequate shelter and were now walking in mud and muck.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Lady Court, Newport, report that someone attempted to break into his locked mailbox and there was still something jammed in keyhole.

AGENCY ASSIST: Sunnyside Dr., Newport, report of Adult Protective Services referral.

NON-INJURY COLLISION: W. Walnut St., Newport, report of two-vehicle accident.

JUVENILE PROBLEM: S. Calispel Ave., Newport

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Deer Valley Rd. & Coyote Trail, Newport, report of dog running loose, chasing vehicles.

FIRE: S. Newport Ave. & W. 5th St., Newport, report of fire near shed, caller put it out with fire extinguisher, looked to be electrical fire.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Mccloud Creek Rd., Newport, report of mailbox vandalized, jammed lock so he could not get mail.

CHILD ABUSE: Westside Calispel Rd., Cusick

FIRE: Hwy. 20, report of text to 911 stating someone needed some assistance in this area with possible vehicle issues, unknown if anyone was injured.

TUESDAY, DEC. 9

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Panhead Hill Rd., Newport, report that soon-to-be ex was pacing back and forth at back of his house, she believed he was watching her.

INMATE TRANSPORT: S. Garden Ave., Newport

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: N. Newport Ave., Newport, report of family in parking lot screaming.

ANIMAL BITE: N. Newport Ave., Newport, report of 4-year-old boy bit by dog, now at emergency room.

ANIMAL NOISE: S. Newport Ave., Newport, report of barking dog.

AGENCY ASSIST: Sunnyside Dr., Newport, report of Adult Protective Services referral.

THREATENING: W. 5th St., Newport, report that caller worked with postal service and delivered package to front door of residence, male came out with shotgun yelling.

VEHICLE PROWL: W. Spruce St., Newport, report of tools stolen from truck.

VEHICLE PROWL: Hwy. 31, report of firearm stolen out of vehicle.

ARREST: Hwy. 31, Bethany Ava Tidwell, 47, of Metaline Falls was arrested on an out-of-state warrant.

ARREST: Coyote Trail, Nelson Ray Blewett, 38, of Priest River was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.

FIRE: Bob Newman Rd., Ione, report of fire in timber near residence.

ARREST: Spring Valley Rd., Newport, Levi Lee Bryant, 35, of Usk was arrested for driving with license suspended.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Telephone Rd. E., Newport, report of tracks going up to property, no one should be there.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Danforth Rd., Usk, report of neighbor’s dogs seen on cameras on property.

ARREST: S. Garden Ave., Newport, Jackson Pitmag Falthin, 40, of Newport was arrested on a local warrant.

AGENCY ASSIST: Deer Valley Rd., Newport, report of assist Bonner County Sheriff’s Office with locating vehicle.

FRAUD: Sandy Rock Lane, Newport, report that someone used old credit card.

ARREST: W. Pine St. & N. Union Ave., Newport, John E. Wilson, 38, of Port Angeles was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
