In keeping with the winter season, Newport artist Don Hatcher recently created this acrylic painting on an 11-by-14 canvas board with heavy texture. “I thought I would try something different with some heavy texture,” Hatcher wrote on the Friends Who Like Evergreen Art Association’s Facebook page.
