Free ‘Rhythm and Rhyme’ classes for kids

NEWPORT — Local musician and songwriter Ben Kardos hosts free “Rhythm and Rhyme” classes for ages 10 to 14, from 3 to 4 p.m.

Thursdays, Jan. 8 and 22 at Create Arts Center. Kids will learn about lyric writing, musical creation in a group setting and live sound production.
