Vitalant hosts blood drive in Newport

NEWPORT — An opportunity to donate blood is coming to Newport next month.

The blood drive is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13 on the bus at Newport Community Hospital, 714 Pine St. in Newport.

December is one of the most difficult months for blood collection, a Vitalant representative wrote in an email.
