ICE’s deportation operations have expanded and expanded again across our country. But unlike the selective arrest of violent criminals promised by Trump during his campaign and at every turn since, what’s happening is widespread, indiscriminate and uncontrolled violence and chaos. Children with severe cancers, US military veterans and residents lawfully following their naturalization programs have been deported.
US citizens are routinely being assaulted, injured and illegally detained. School teachers, grandmothers, children and pastors are not a threat to our national security, but shooting them, tear gassing them, denying them legal representation, then threatening witnesses while bragging about their actions certainly makes me feel less secure. And now he’s rolling out a demand to de-naturalize citizens! I have messaged our Representative about my concerns on this, and his response was dismissive nonsense about a non-existent crime wave. When I replied to him with crime statistics taken directly from federal government and FBI sources, I received the same dismissive response, verbatim.
I do not feel protected by ICE actions; I feel threatened even though I am a natural born American citizen. I fear for my friends and community members.
I do not feel represented or listened to by our Representative.
I feel dismissed, and disrespected. Jessica Adams Colville
Confused as to what this is
So we take oil tankers outgoing from Venezuela, was that a declaration of war without the courtesy (or legal method) of having congress vote approval?
Our President/Dictator says he might just keep that oil.
If not war, that would seem to them it an Acts of Piracy.
I suppose Trump could picture himself debonair with a patch over one eye standing on the deck of an oil tanker with singing, “Yo, ho, ho and a bottle of rum!”
I don’t see a good ending to this.

2026
Trump warned ISIS in Nigeria months ago, ‘stop killing Christians or I will intervene’.
They didn’t listen. On Christmas Day, with the full backing of the Nigerian government, Trump strategically bombed multiple ISIS locations. Facilities destroyed and unknown numbers killed. Trump will destroy ISIS again. A General back in 1776also used Christmas strategically. Gen. George Washington.
The 2020 Presidential election is back in the crosshairs. A Federal Judge granted the Georgia State Election Board access to Fulton County ballots and related records. Fulton County recently admitted that they counted 315,000 ballots that were uncertified. Biden won by less than 12K. It appears that Trump was right again.
A Grand Jury in Florida indicts John Brennan over the Russia conspiracy. Brennan writes a letter to a top Judge in Miami and asks not to get Judge Cannon (Trump appointed).
Charges haven’t even been filed yet. Panic in the deep state?
Trump has said that 2026 will be America’s best year yet.
He has negotiated trillions in business coming back to America. Many are expecting the economy will boom. Industry will be full speed ahead. National average price of gas today; $2.88.
Happy New Year!

Our Constitution is not optional
As an American, I am deeply concerned by the growing disregard for our Constitution under President Trump’s leadership. Our First Amendment rights—the freedoms of speech, press and peaceful assembly—are under threat like never before. Instead of upholding these fundamental liberties, we are witnessing attempts to silence dissent and those who speak out are being punished. We’ve watched individuals being brutally beaten, by ICE, as they were peacefully protesting.
The actions of agencies like ICE have further eroded our constitutional protections.
Illegal searches and seizures have become all too common, violating the Fourth Amendment. Even more troubling is the deportation of individuals without due process, a direct affront to the legal principles that define our nation. These practices undermine the rule of law and set a dangerous precedent for what is acceptable in our democracy.
No leader is above the Constitution. Lawlessness in the highest offices cannot be ignored or excused by we the people. We must demand accountability from those who hold power. Our democracy depends on it.

Trapped in a Trump fantasy
People defending Trump have a low bar for national accomplishments. Today, putting Trump’s name on everything is an accomplishment.
I once asked an astronaut if he would like to have his name on an elementary school or come home safely from a dangerous Shuttle mission.
Typically, we name things in honor after the person is dead or died for our country.
If our national priory is to name things after Trump, my idea is to change the name of the commode to the Trump.
His likeness could be at the bottom of the bowl. The federal standard limits toilets to 1.6 gallons per flush. Trump could raise the standard and make toilets great again.
One must have fractured logic to associate everything positive that happens with who is the president, especially a president who is obsessed with naming things like battleships and buildings for himself. As for fixing complex things like our economy, it’s delusional to think that a president can fix it with abusive midnight tweets or single page executive order.
Some people are trapped by the Trump fantasy which is the political version of the Pied Piper story, “One that offers strong but delusive enticement.” Pete Scobby Newport
