BOISE — A water utility that serves customers in the Blanchard, Idaho, area has submitted an application to the Idaho Public Utilities Commission seeking approval to increase the rates it charges to provide service, the Idah Public Utilities Commission announced in a news release.
CDS Stoneridge Utilities, LLC is seeking approval to raise overall revenues by 43%.
It said the increase is needed to address system deficiencies identified in a Department of Environmental Quality sanitary survey. The Commission can approve, deny or modify proposed rate changes.
