Make appointment for well child screening
PRIEST RIVER — A Well Child Developmental Check Up Screener will be held Friday, Jan. 23rd, from 8 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Priest River Elementary School. The screenings are free and children up to age 5 will be screened in the following areas: Speech, language, gross motor, fine motor, readiness, hearing, vision and other developmental areas.
These screenings are sponsored by the West Bonner County School District No.83 and The Idaho Infant/ Toddler Program.
The Priest River Elementary school is located at 231 Harriet Street in Priest River. Screener is by appointment only. At your scheduled appointment time, only one adult will be allowed to accompany the child. Theatre auditions Jan. 26
METALINE FALLS — An audition will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Beauty Lou and the Country Beast Monday, Jan. 26, from 3:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:45 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours. Most of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.
Among the roles to be cast are Beauty Lou, Imaginary Friend, Beast, Dusty and Slim the farmhands, Fleabite Clyde the dog, the Younger Daughters, the Older Daughters, the Country Folk and the Barnyard Critters. Students entering first grade through 12th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and take on essential backstage responsibilities.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery and props. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from Monday– Thursday with performances at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30 and at 2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 31.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency at the Cutter Theatre is presented with support from many local businesses, organizations and individuals.
