Sergeant Questin Youk retired from Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Office after 25 years of service. Monday, Jan. 25, county commissioners presented Youk with a American flag that few over the county courthouse during Youk’s time. Youk told commissioners he had felt strong community support throughout his time working in the county. Sheriff Glenn Blakeslee said Youk was competent, made good decisions and was looked to for guidance throughout the organization.
