RUNAWAY JUVENILE: Sunrise Hill Lane, Newport, report that 17-year-old son ran away yesterday from church.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: Fertile Valley Rd., Newport, report that subject sent email to sheriff regarding trespasser who was on their property Saturday, Jan. 24 and then they gave this subject a ride into Spokane.

FIRE: N. 2nd Ave., Ione, report of electrical smell inside building.

AGENCY ASSIST: W. 7th St., Newport, report of Child Protective Services intake.

THEFT: Hwy. 20, report that caller’s brother took another tenant’s mail from mailbox.

SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCE: Mc-Cloud Creek Rd., Newport, report that caller thought he found human body part in his driveway.

ARREST: Calispel Ave., Cusick, Richard Dale Hall, 42, of Spokane was arrested for driving under the influence.

ARREST: Hwy. 20, Albert Eldridge Ratliff, 62, of Newport was arrested for first-degree assault.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Hwy. 20 JUVENILE PROBLEM: N. Craig Ave., Newport

THREATENING: W. 7th St., Newport, report that tenant came to office and started cussing and yelling, making vague threats.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: Beeman Rd., Usk BURGLARY: Hwy. 211, report that neighbor told owner his shed was burglarized.

THREATENING: 2nd Ave., report of man threatened by girlfriend’s son.

ARREST: McKenzie Rd., Usk, Adam Ryan Lontz, 45, of Portland was arrested for driving under the influence.

ARREST: Hwy. 2, Newport, Andrew Ty Kauffman, 46, of Priest River was arrested for driving under the influence and a warrant.

ARREST: Deer Valley Rd., Newport, Michele M. K. Hart, 38, of Hayden was arrested on an out-of-state warrant.
