IONE — The Pend Oreille County Library District will host a free home buying and selling class designed to help community members better understand today’s real estate market.
The class will be led by local realtor Pollianna Dickinson-Jones, who brings firsthand experience working with buyers and sellers in the area.
The session will cover key topics such as preparing a home for sale, understanding the buying process, navigating financing options and what to expect during a real estate transaction. Attendees can ask questions specific to their individual situations.
This class is especially relevant for residents of rural communities, where real estate transactions often come with unique considerations. From larger land parcels and well or septic systems to limited housing inventory and longer timelines, buying and selling a home in a rural area can differ significantly from the process in more urban settings. The presentation will address these realities and provide practical guidance tailored to the local community.
The class will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Ione Library. For more information on this or other library events, call the local branch at 800-366-3654 or email [email protected].
