NEWPORT — The Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual Gala will take place Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Priest River Event Center, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the Gala starting 6 p.m.
Themed “Explore Pend Oreille,” the Gala is an evening dedicated to celebrating the businesses, organizations, and individuals who make the Greater Newport Area a vibrant, resilient community.
This year’s Gala will honor outstanding contributors across a range of award categories, including Social Media Superstar, Hidden Gem, Small Business of the Year and Large Business of the Year. These recognitions reflect the creativity, dedication, and spirit of the people who continue to drive the region forward.
The event will start with a welcoming social hour to kick off the evening at 5 p.m. There will be both a silent and live auction, featuring unique items and experiences provided by community supporters. Dinner will be catered by David Bradbury, promising a memorable culinary highlight to accompany the night’s celebrations. The event will be held in cocktail attire.
“We are continually inspired by the individuals and organizations that invest so much heart into strengthening this region,” said the Greater Newport Area Chamber of Commerce in a news release announcing the event. “Our gala is a time to celebrate their achievements and to look ahead with optimism toward the continued growth and success of the Greater Newport Area.”
