My Lantern

The Lord is my Lantern, He shows me the light, Through all the cold winter days and nights. And when the blizzard begins coming my way, The Lord the Lantern will protect me. The Lord the Lantern helps me see, All the beauty that came to be. Beauty like nature and creatures and colors, Beauty like siblings and fathers and mothers. The Lord my Lantern has shown us his grace, And He will do so through all of our days. And if the Lord is who you’ll believe, He’ll stand by your side and never leave.
