NEWPORT — The Pend Oreille County Library District is proud to announce plans for the 2026 Newport Renaissance Faire, returning from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at the Newport Rodeo Grounds.
Now entering its fifth year, the Faire has grown into a community tradition, drawing more than 1,200 attendees in 2025 and earning enthusiastic reviews from patrons, performers and vendors alike. The Library District has expanded the Faire each year, adding new performances, vendors and experiences to create an immersive event for all ages. Thanks to fundraising efforts last year, the Faire saw significant improvements while remaining free and open to the public, a commitment that ensures accessibility for the entire community.
To continue enhancing the Faire’s unique experiences, the Pend Oreille County Library District is now seeking community sponsors. Sponsorships directly support performers, activities and event infrastructure, helping ensure the Faire continues to be successful.
Sponsorship opportunities include: The Villagers ($10): Our eternal gratitude; The Gentry ($100): Social media recognition and a certificate of appreciation; The Nobility ($500): Social media recognition, a certificate of appreciation and public acknowledgment from the official Faire Herald; and The Royalty ($1,000): All the above, plus signage featuring the company crest displayed at the entrance to the arena.
