For those who like their books like their salsa (spicy), Moonlit Reads meets at Mi Pueblo in Newport at 5:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. Next up, they are reading “One True Loves” by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
For those with an eye for history, History’s Tales reads historical fiction and meets the third Friday of each month at 1 p.m. at Newport Library. The group is reading “America’s First Daughter” by Stephanie Dray.
Books are available at the library or on the Libby or Hoopla apps, which are free through the library district.
