As Time Passes

I was born in 1954, 90 years after the Civil War, So much has changed within that time. The telephone was invented, women got the vote, there was a prohibition on beer and wine.

Radio, records and TV came about as well, Pro baseball and football and that was really swell. Four more wars were fought and all came with a price, with the death of thousands, I can’t be precise. Since I was born over 70 years have passed, I have been blessed by God if anyone ever asks. I went to school, played sports, got married and had kids. Not enough time to point out the things good or bad I did. Born where I was supposed to be as part of God’s plan, I know I was blessed to be born in this land. I believe America is the best country on Earth, although Bethlehem was the place of Christ’s birth. Jesus said we should love our fellow man, In difficult times it can be hard to understand. There is much disagreement in our beautiful land, It may not be accomplished, but let’s do what we can.
