Paint Night to fundraise for artists

NEWPORT — The Newport Creative District presents Community Paint Night at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 26 at Sadie Halstead Middle School.

This is a fundraiser to support young artists in the Greater Newport area. Proceeds from the event will help fund the Visual Art Scholarship offered by Evergreen Art Association.

Step-by-step instructions and supplies will be provided for kids and adults to paint “Pend Oreille Starry Night” with acrylic paint on canvas. Community Paint Night will be held in the multi-purpose room at Sadie Halstead Middle School, 331 S. Calispel Ave., Newport. The doors open at 6 p.m. for a casual dinner of chili and soup, and painting starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available for $40 per person at share.google/oaxFjyGMETrUvtBQs.
