A class on conk

Jean Wakeley will teach a conk painting class at Create Arts Center Sunday, March 22, 1-3 p.m. Cost is $20 per person.

Conks are what happens when a decaying fungus infects trees, eventually making a shelf on the bark. They are harmless to humans and can be used as an art canvas. Conks will be provided.
