Hannah and Noah Keiser, winners of this year’s essay contest, pose beside President Tammy Allison of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 155 at their Saturday, March 14 meeting. The theme of this year’s essay was “Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday and the Veterans Who Fought for Our Freedom.” The Keisers attended the meeting with their families and read their essays there, after which Allison presented them with $50 each.
