Youth submissions needed for art fair

NEWPORT — The Pend Oreille County Art Fair for youth, hosted by Pend Oreille Events and CREATE Arts Center, is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16 at Sadie Halstead Middle School.

Children pre-kindergarten through 12th grade are encouraged to enter. The theme is Spring Renewal: Honoring fresh starts, natural beauty, and the energy of a new season.
